When planning your wedding, choosing the right officiant is one of the most important decisions you’ll make during the wedding planning process. You can plan every detail, however the way your ceremony feels will be something you and your families will remember forever. I work closely with each couple to create a fully customized ceremony that celebrates their unique relationship. As a friendly, professional non-denominational minister, I have performed numerous religious and secular wedding ceremonies. It is my goal to create a memorable, heartfelt experience for you and your wedding guests. Whether you are interested in something short and sweet, or a complicated interfaith or multicultural ceremony, I am happy to collaborate with you to make your wedding ceremony exactly what you’re looking for.

Each standard wedding ceremony package includes the following:

Initial Consultation – I want you to feel totally comfortable utilizing my services, which is why I offer a free, no-obligation consultation before you ever sign a contract. I conduct these initial consultations via Skype, FaceTime, or phone, but if you would prefer to meet in person we can certainly do so.

Planning Meeting – Once you’ve signed your contract and paid the 25% reservation fee, I will be in touch to schedule a planning meeting. This meeting normally happens in person, but it can also be done via video or phone call as well. During this meeting, I will ask you questions about what you feel is important to include in your ceremony and get to know the two of you and learn about your relationship. This information will help me in writing your ceremony to make sure it reflects your beliefs and personalities.

Ceremony Editing – Following the planning meeting, I will write a full draft of your ceremony and email it to you for your review. You can revise your draft ceremony as much as you’d like until it is the exact wedding ceremony you want, and then simply email your edited draft back to me.  I want it to feel perfect – if you need additional suggestions or guidance, I am happy to help at no additional charge.

Rehearsal – While a rehearsal isn’t required, it often allows us to work out last minute jitters as well as see if there is anything we want to change. It also gives you and your wedding party the opportunity to know where their places to stand are and what their responsibilities are the day of the ceremony. This is at your discretion, but is covered as part of the standard wedding fee.

The Ceremony! – I will arrive at your wedding early to help coordinate with your attendants and vendors and get ready for the processional. I will work with other wedding professionals, and am perfectly comfortable with photographers taking pictures anywhere they would like during the ceremony. As your officiant I will deliver the exact ceremony we’ve discussed, and create a wonderful experience for you and your guests.

The Marriage License – Although it’s your responsibility to get the marriage license before the wedding, I will take care of signing it afterward with witnesses.

OPTIONAL SERVICES – Additional ceremony components, wedding planning assistance and pre-marital counseling is available.
